BMJ Open

BMJ Open is an online, open access journal, dedicated to publishing medical research from all disciplines and therapeutic areas. The journal publishes all research study types, from study protocols to phase I trials to meta-analyses, including small or specialist studies. Publishing procedures are built around fully open peer review and continuous publication, publishing research online as soon as the article is ready.

BioMed Central

BioMed Central is an STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher of 259 peer-reviewed open access journals. The portfolio of journals spans all areas of biology, biomedicine and medicine and includes broad interest titles, such as BMC Biology and BMC Medicine alongside specialist journals, such as Retrovirology and BMC Genomics. All original research articles published by BioMed Central are made freely accessible online immediately upon publication.

Chinese Medical Journal

The Chinese Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published in English by the Chinese Medical Association. CMJ is the oldest medical periodical from China (since 1887) and publishes article on all fields of medicine and clinical research.

Clinical Trials NLM is a registry and results database of publicly and privately supported clinical studies of human participants conducted around the world.

Directory of Open Access Journals

Directory of Open Access Journals is a service that provides access to quality controlled Open Access Journals. The Directory aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system, and it will not be limited to particular languages or subject areas. The aim of the Directory is to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly journals thereby promoting their increased usage and impact.

National Library of Medicine (NLM)
The National Library of Medicine (NLM), on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, has been a center of information innovation since its founding in 1836. ScienceDirect is a leading full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 journals and almost 20,000 books.

OpenDOAR is an authoritative directory of academic open access repositories. Each OpenDOAR repository has been visited by project staff to check the information that is recorded here. This in-depth approach does not rely on automated analysis and gives a quality-controlled list of repositories.

OpenThesis is a free repository of theses, dissertations, and other academic documents, coupled with powerful search, organization, and collaboration tools.
OpenThesis contains the bibliographical information, normally including author, school, title, abstract, date of publication, and more.
Full text is generally not included unless OpenThesis has received permission from the school or author.

PubMed comprises more than 23 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. UH-Mānoa OneSearch

UH Mānoa Databases can be searched using the new OneSearch Mānoa. OneSearch includes the UH Voyager Catalog plus a huge index of academic journals on most topics. OneSearch does not give you online access to the full text of the journal articles that are licensed by UH Mānoa. However, students can access the UH Mānoa online databases from Hamilton Library on the UH-Mānoa campus.
