Daoist Studies

The Daoist Studies website is a portal designed to assist researchers and scholars of Daoism, practitioners, and interested members of the public in furthering knowledge about Daoism. It is maintained by James Miller, Professor of Chinese Studies at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

This is the English language version of the Fung Ying Seen Koon Daoist Cultural Center Library.

Daoist Iconography Project

The Daoist Iconography Project 道教圖像學計畫 (DIP) provides an international research database for the study of visual representations of the Daoist pantheon and their contexts of use in Daoist ritual traditions, illustrated scriptures, and popular culture. DIP was initiated in the fall of 2005 as a joint venture of the Department of Religion at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and the Honolulu Museum of Arts.

Daozang Jiyao Project

The Daozang jiyao project, designed and directed by Monica Esposito, is hosted at Kyoto University, Institute for Research in Humanities (Jinbun Kagaku Kenkyūjo) and supported by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation (CCK) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Its aim is to produce, organize, and publish knowledge about the Daozang jiyao (Essentials of the Daoist Canon).
